Piacenti, Roger Frederick


Roger Frederick Piacenti, 58, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born on September 8, 1961 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Ron and Betty Piacenti. He graduated from Rich Central High School before attending Lincoln College and the University of Texas at Arlington.

Roger was an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He loved working crossword puzzles and playing anything competitive. After playing college baseball, he played competitive softball and baseball until his health issues forced him to retire from baseball. He then turned his full attention to throwing darts and became one of the best players in Dallas.

Roger will be remembered by his brothers and sisters-in law Ron and Terri Piacenti of Dallas, Rick and Grace Piacenti of Houston, Randy Piacenti of Arlington and his sister Rhonda Piacenti of Artesia, New Mexico. He is also survived by his Aunt Arlene of Wheaton, Illinois, his Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Carmine Caruso of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and 20 nephews, nieces and cousins.
