“I highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brother’s arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.”

Obituary of
Goldshtein, Mikhail "Misha" Israel
Mikhail “Misha” Israel Goldshtein passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 in Plano, Texas at the age of 69. Misha was born on July 11, 1950 in Kharkov, Ukraine, the son of Rebecca and Israel Goldshtein. The brother of Larissa Plyako. He met his loving wife Tatyana in 1980 and the two spent 40 wonderful years together. He was the proud father of two daughters, Inna and Yelena, and the doting grandfather of Ryley, Andrew and Noah. He considered his son-in-law, Sean Yuen, as his own and loved him as such. With the help of his wonderful cousins, Ilya and Faina Drapkin, and aunt, Lisa Drapkin, he brought his family to the United States in 1992 and worked hard every day to build a beautiful life for them. He retired early from a rewarding career in accounting to spend more time with his family and be a full-time adoring dedushka (grandpa). Misha never met a stranger. He had an infectious smile, loved a good story and a good laugh. He made sure everyone around him always felt loved, cherished and appreciated. Misha never missed a single moment in his family’s life. He was always our biggest cheerleader and shoulder to cry on. His heart was simply too big and too loving for this world. He is preceded in death by his father, Israel, his mother Rebecca, his aunt, Lisa, his sister, Larissa and his nephew Arthur Drapkin. Misha is survived by his wife, daughters and their husbands, three grandchildren, cousins, nephews and countless friends who will all miss him deeply. Please join us to celebrate his life at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway; Dallas, Texas 75225 on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 beginning at 11:00am. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
