Sweet Georgie. I will miss our hamburger and margarita dates at TGI Fridays. Will miss watching you read the Sunday newspaper page to page with your carafe of strong coffee. You were my “go to” on current events. You were so sweet and kind to my mother and family. I love you George and will have the fondest memories of you and your sweet smile!!!!

Sorry for your loss, we will always cherish our time spent with George and our Mother at Thanksgiving, Christmas and every time between the holidays. We are all blessed to have been so lucky.

Daniel Collins says:

I’ll surely miss George. We had such good times during holidays and he took good care of Joyce. I enjoyed hearing about George’s life in the Army serving on B29s maintenance in the Philippine islands. He was a jewelry salesmen in the downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus on Elm street on November 22, 1963. He came out to the street with the crowds waving to JFK and Jackie. George spent years as a sommelier, assisting people with buying wine. George knew the Dallas Morning News better than anyone I knew. He read cover to cover, almost daily. I’ll miss his dry wit and active nature. I’ll always remember George, may God bless his soul and may he rest in His peace.
