Obituary of Henry, Janet Lynn

Janet Lynn Henry (Meme) of Carrollton, TX went to the awaiting arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus, January 27, 2021. She was born December 4, 1938 in Dallas, Texas.  She was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School and received her degree in Elementary Education at North Texas University, Denton, Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother, full of faith, kindness and love.  She especially loved her role as Meme as she enjoyed sharing time with her grands with arts, crafts, baking and vacationing in Colorado.  She will be deeply missed by her loving family, her devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her parents Arleigh Watts and Doris Watts. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry (JC) Henry of Carrollton, TX; her children, Jay (Jody Henry) and Jenny (Sean Smith); her grandchildren, Kelly (Joey Bell), Jill Henry, Sarah (Joey Gabriano), and Allison Smith; and her great grandchildren Macey Bell, Riley Bell, Henry Bell and Molly Bell; her brother Jerry Watts of Fischer, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seeds of Love, Inc., P.O. Box 219, Los Indios, TX 78567 or First Baptist Church at the Fields, 1401 Carrollton Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010.
