I was a nurse at Maimonides Hospital back in the late 60s and worked with Dr. Perlman on many occasions. He was a wonderful doctor even back then. He was so well liked by the other doctors and nurses.I was not surprised to read all the wonderful reviews about his success as a doctor by so many of his patients. Rest in peace Dr. Perlman. You were one in a million!

My name is Wayne, Iā€™ll make this as short as I possibly can. Dr. Pearlman was a great and caring man who happened to be a great Doctor. I work in Law Enforcement in the City of Dallas, Texas. I would visit Dr. Pearlman on several occasions and at times he would always make sure I was seen in a timely manner. This one instance, I was having stomach pains for about a week, and I finally found the (stomach), to go see his leaving work early. Well, I was in full uniform at the time and Dr. Pearlman saw me immediately in his office. He then sent me for x-rays. After all I was said and done, I was dressed back in full uniform and was about to leave when I had a wheelchair waiting for me at the door. I was a bit shook when Dr. Pearlman, explained I was on the way to emergency surgery! You see, during the x-ray Dr. Pearlman, discovered my appendix was about to burst and I needed emergency appendectomy surgery. Dr. Pearlman saved my life that day and I will never forget what he did for me and what a great man and Dr. he was.

    Rest in Peace Dr. Pearlman

It was a shock to hear that Allen had passed. He was my doctor for 18 years, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. He will be sorely missed.
