Obituary of Racy, Jack Earl

Jack Earl Racy went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2014 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous 10 year fight with cancer.  Visitation will be from 6-8 PM at North Dallas Funeral Home 2710 Valley View Lane Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.  Funeral Services will be held  at 1PM at First Baptist Church Carrollton.  He was born March 20, 1939 to Earl and Velma Racy in Magnum, Oklahoma.  He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons Mark, Scott, James; daughter Sharon; grandchildren Brittany, Ryan, Luke, Delaney, Sara, Blake and Alex; sisters Melba Yeager and Patsy Graumann; As a long time member of the Gideons, he served as Vice President for 3 years.  He taught 5th grade Bible Fellowship for over 25 years.  He served as an usher and First Responder at his church for many years.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Gideons Internatiomal at P.O. 140800, Nashville, Tennessee 37214 or online at gideons.org.
