“I highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brother’s arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.”
Jenny Lou Blunt-Weathers was born on January 2, 1951 and passed away at home on January 31, 2014. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul F. Blunt and Mary Virginia Ferrar Blunt; her grandmother, Dover Hyde Blunt; and her brother, Perry Paul Blunt.

Jenny had a beautiful singing voice, passed down from her musician father and will be remembered for her love of music – especially The Beach Boys, James Taylor, Neil Young, & Judy Garland. She passed on her love of The Beach Boys to her children – they have fond memories of going to multiple Beach Boys concerts as they were growing up. She will also be remembered for her beautiful smile, her never-ending hugs and contagious laugh.
She will surely be missed by us all.
I love you and miss you so much mom. Please just rest now. I’ll be okay. Jacob will be fine. We love you.

I loved this woman more than life. She was more than a friend she was my mom. I sometimes wonder how I will live without her. Jennifer and Laura your mom helped me through some very tough times. I still find myself driving over there to hold her. May she finally get her rest
