Williams, Gladys May King

Gladys May Williams, 88, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born in New York City on May 18, 1925. She was married to Lawrence Davis Williams on June 30, 1946. She was a beloved member of the Lake Highlands Community and Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church. She worked for Prescott Benefit Service for many years. More than anything she loved her family. Gladys is survived by her husband, her brother, John King and her three children: Heather Williams, Scott Williams and Joyce Lindauer and their spouses and her five grandchildren: Cathleen Williams, Kathryn Lindauer, Kelsi Hinely, Jonathan Lindauer and Davis Williams. Among her thoughs she left the following: God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put His arms around you and whispered “Come with Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. And though we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard-working hands were put to rest. God broke out hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. A memorial service will be held at Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church, 8525 Audelia Road, Dallas, Texas 75238 at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 24, 2014.
