I had the pleasure of working with Nabil, mostly through the 1980s and 1990s, running training schools around the Middle East for young geophysicists and oil company clients. He had a passion for helping the new guys and passing on knowledge and was an inspirational instructor. He was also great fun and devised many great social events for his students who all respected him greatly.
A great loss, my thoughts are with you, Bob
