We send our love and prayers to your family. Al was a very kind and friendly man. He was always a smiling face at any of Andy’s shows we went to. He will be sorely missed.

I’m not certain that this is the same Al Sonsino that I knew and dated in the early 1970s in Dallas. If this is the same Al, at that time, he was the bass player with a small band (the drummer’s name was Rick but I don’t remember the band’s name). Al was a very sweet, caring, and somewhat shy man who was always upbeat. He was always a gentleman to me. I have fond memories of him and our time together.
