Mike, Jennifer, Eric, and Jeff,

We were sorry to hear of your wife/mother’s passing. She was a wonderful lady, and very proud of her children!

As to CASA, as the past Exec. Dir. of the program, I can assure you that she was a very enthusiastic & deeply committed volunteer.

She represented her “children” well in court as well as on a personal level.

We both found that being a CASA was a fulfilling adjunct to our careers after we retired. We were able to help very needy children in ways we never could do as educators.

I will miss her & pray for all of you.

“Just as the sun will set then rise with each and every dawn, the souls of those who lived life well eternally live on…Now that the sun has set on one so very dear, please know a soul who lived so well remains forever near.”

Our love & sympathy to all of you,

Barb & Jerry

Mike, Jenny, Eric & Jeff –

I can’t begin to imagine how difficult these past two years have been for all of you. I have prayed many times for Susan as well as for all of you hoping for a cure. I was saddened by her passing, but also relieved that her pain is done. I have fond memories of her while growing up as a child until the last time I saw her in Logansport. She was always cheerful, loving and warm to me. I remember tooling around France with Mike and Susan during a business trip several years ago. It was a fun time and she seemed to especially delight in being with her husband in such a beautiful area. I will miss her. I’m so sorry for all of you. May God walk closely with you during this difficult time. Rev 21:4.

Deepest condolences

Clay Barnes
