Rivera, Christopher Daniel

The day was darker, the night stars brighter, as Christopher Daniel Rivera, 34, passed away peacefully in his partner’s arms on Monday, June 2. While his time here was short, Chris lived life fully and left us with a lot of great memories–and empty bottles.

He is survived by his loving partner Kyle Schultheis, along with many friends and family members who loved him dearly.

He was a man of many words, many songs (often on repeat), many drinks, and many laughs. His smile and laugh were contagious. Chris had that persuasive personality that always said “Have one more,” even if you weren’t drinking.

Chris was always on his phone, texting, playing games, listening to music, or watching Ke$ha embarrass herself. He was a kid at heart–he loved superhero movies and Saturday morning cartoons.

When life handed him lemons, he added Grey Goose and stirred. May he rest in peace.

Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
