Frankie Turner, 79, passed away peacefully on July 19 in Dallas, TX. The only child of Frank and Alice Meade Cockrell, Frankie was born on April 13, 1935 in Seymour, TX. She graduated from Megargel High School and attended Texas Tech University. She spent her early adult life in Marshal, TX where she raised her children; then moved to the Dallas area, settling in North Richland Hills. She retired from work in the finance department of the DFW Airport Board.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frankie is survived by her three daughters LaNae Snider Taylor (Jim) of Dallas, RaNae Snider Adair (Mike) of Marshall and Melissa “Tissa” Snider Lewis of Los Angeles; four grandchildren Allison Taylor, Scott Adair (Amber), Kaitlin Adair and Robert “Trey” Lewis; one great grandson Maddox Adair; and her beloved cat Raney.
The family would like to express its gratitude and appreciation for the care and support provided by the staff at Emeritus Assisted Living/Preston and by Grace Hospice in Dallas TX.
