Obituary of
Amos, William E.
William Earl Amos, 85, of Dallas, TX, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at his home. Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Frankford Cemetery, 17400 Muirfield, Dallas, TX 75287. As a retired Amry Veteran, he will receive full military honors at graveside. Dr. Amos was born July 20, 1926 in Charleston, AR, to the late George Luther Amos and Laura Kate Jones Amos. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the role of military police. Additionally, he served as a member of the U.S. Secret Service, on the U.S. Parole Commission; and as a college professor. He is survived by his wife, Ava N. "Kit" Mitchell Amos of Plano. Please sign the guestbook and/or send private condolences to the family on this website.
