Edwin Arnold Arvesen Jr., loving son, husband, father and grandfather, Ed went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 12, 2012. Part of the "Greatest Generation" valiantly defending our country in WWII, Ed served the Army Air Corp in the Philippines and Borneo as a B-25 tail gunner. Living in Elmhurst, Ill. until 1974 and then Richardson, TX, Ed was Chief Appraiser for Fannie Mae and in 1982 founded his own appraisal firm. A lifetime Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and Dallas chapter president, Ed also served on the Collin Co. Appraisal Board. His steadfast Christian faith, daily Bible study, and handsome Norwegian blue eyes distinguished him as did service on the board of Interfaith Housing Coalition.
