Dear Sandy, Your husband was a very big part of my recovery and he will be forever in my heart. I was SO mad at him in a meeting one time that I wanted to take him out to the parking lot and punch him out. I, of course, had to call my sponsor about my behavior. She told me to pray for him for 30 days, NOT what I wanted to hear…. However, after the 20th day, I came to love him. Now I’m not saying my sponsor was right, however, I am so glad that I can laugh about it now!
Bless you and your family with the Grace of God.

Stan was one of our favorite people at the Addison Group. He was our favorite curmudgeon; he did not mince words; did not suffer fools gladly; was unpretentious; was kind hearted; loved golf; and stayed in the solution vs. getting mired in the problem. He was a good friend we’re happy to have known.
We’ll be so glad when Stan “gets to see us again” at the Big Meeting in the Sky…bet it WON’T be a speaker meeting.
Our condolences to dear Sandy, Stan’s beloved daughters, Shani and Salli, and their families.

I will so miss Stan. He was a hug buddy and brought me a flower, faithfully, once a year from his yard. I too am a 20+ year friend of Bill W. and that’s how we met. Sandy, please feel free to call me….even if all you want me to do is listen. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love you,
Gale

Dear Sandy,
Just saw Stan’s notice in the paper today, but I had heard that
he was very ill. I feel so sorry
for you and your family because I
went through the same loss three
years ago and I know what it’s like after loving someone for over
50 years, and then they are gone.
I will be thinking of you, and I
want you to know that you are in
my prayers.
In loving sympathy,
