Obituary of
Barrett, USAF (Ret), Colonel Robert L.
Colonel Bob Barrett, USAF (Ret), born 7 December 1924 in Springfield, Missouri died on 29 March 2012. He proudly served his country for over 35 years. His decorations include the Silver Star, The Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. After his military service, Bob went on to be Vice President at Daske Management Co. He served two terms on the Addison City Council, served on the Board of Directors of the Senior Adult Services and was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch.
His beloved wife, Judy; sons Bobby, Stan & Ken Barrett & John Sherman; daughters Barbara Barrett & Missy Balthrope and their families survive him. Bob was a long time friend of Bill W.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 4 April 2012 at 10:30 AM at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch with a reception to follow. Burial with honors will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:15 PM.
In honor of Bob, memorials may be made to Senior Adult Services, One Medial Parkway, Professional Plaza 1, Suite 115, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
