Brewster, Alvin J.

8/27/1921 – 7/11/2011
A most remarkable man, Alvin Eugene Brewster, one month shy of his 90th birthday, passed from our midst the afternoon of July 11, 2011, at his home surrounded by his wife and family. The life of “Brewster” (the name he referred to himself), had breadth and depth that has been experienced by very few of us: Hus
band, father, grandfather, aviator, businessman, and genuine friend that many turned to for guidance and wisdom. Born in Antigo, Wisconsin to the
parentage of Adelbert and Nora
Brewster, he joined the U.S. Army

A great man who will be missed.

God's Garden
God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered"Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you. But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. ~author unknown~
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our love and prayers.
B Uncle Al...oh the memories! Best one, his arriving in Three Lakes from Texas with a car trunk full of watermelons, and us kids could eat as much as we wanted! Seed spitting contests. And then all three brothers bragging and 'discussing'.
