For many years I have known a couple of the children of Ardenia. After getting acquainted with Ardenia I then knew where they received their integrity. What a woman she was! You can tell what kind of woman the mother was by the outcome of the children. Oh...like all of us perfection has a few flaws, but I'm so blessed to have had the honor of visiting her in her home so many times, and it was always open. She was a precious precious lady.

I had found Ardenia to be a wonderful example of a true Christian woman, a woman of strong faith and generosity. I will miss seeing her in church, but am glad that she is with her Savior and is no longer suffering and will see her again one day.

Mama Cates was a loving person who loved us so much. She couldn't wait until Ben and I got married. She encouraged everyone she came in contact with. We will miss her dearly especially the sparkle in her eyes when she spoke of her family. Now she is dancing on the streets of Gold now. To her children, thank you for sharing your momwith us. We love you all.
