While reading the obituary for Mr. George Chaney, we are struck by not only the physical resemblance of George to our dear friend Dave Chaney, but also the description of the life he lived. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and I am sure your dad is proudly smiling down on you Dave. To the entire Chaney family, we are deeply sorry for your loss – George sounds like he was a great man.

I went to college with David and I had the fortune of meeting Mr. Chaney on two different occasions. He was very nice and jovial. David himself was always so warm and friendly. I remember thinking, “like father, like son”. My sincere sympathies to the family on Mr. Chaney’s passing.

    Peace,
