Obituary of Cox, Jimmie B.

Jimmie Bell Cox was born on April 30, 1941, in Davis, OK, to JB and Lucille Cox. He went home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2012, at 2:08 p.m. at San Remo Rehab and Nursing Home in Richardson, TX. Jim's home was in Sachse, TX He lived most of his life in the DFW metroplex. He was a passionate man who managed call centers in the U.S. and many other countries. He loved God, his family, and his friends. His hobbies included traveling the world, history, movies, eating, and always being around others. Jim never met a stranger! He was extremely loving and proud of his son-by-choice, Kevin, and his two grandsons, Kaleb and Kameron. Jim left behind an amazing legacy to all who knew him as one of the most gentle and kind-hearted persons; genuine, true, and loyal in his convictions. A great man of honor! Jim's family and friends will gather on Friday, August 17, 2012, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Elevate Church, 701 E. FM 544, Murphy, TX, 75094, for a Celebration of Jim's life, and his continued journey in heaven. Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.

    I only knew Mr Cox for a short time as I was given the opportunity of being his home health nurse. But in a very short term I realized what a sweet loving person he was. I am truly sorry for your loss.
