Irene Diaz, 88, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at her home in Bedford, Texas.
Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2011 in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 in the Brooks Family Chapel.
Burial to follow in Garland Memorial Park, Garland, Texas.
Irene was born in El Paso, Texas to the late Jesus Diaz and Ricarda Salinas.

I only have fun memories of grandma. I always think back on all the fun stories my grandma would tell. My grandma would crack some funny jokes and laugh about them herself, it was priceless. Te quiero abuelita, luego nos vemos pero por lo mientras que descanses en paz.

Abuelita muchas gracias por empesar esta familia y por venir a este paiz muchos anos atras.Siempre me recuerdo cuando usted nos dicia que aqui usted llego sola y haora son muchos.Si buelita, el senor Jesus la bendicio con una gran familia para amarla y nunca estuviera sola.Muchas gracias le doy a Dios por la bendicion de que usted estuviera con nosotros muchos anos.De parte de todos los muchos le quiero decir que la amo mucho y ahora quiede a mi ermano ahyi en el cielo y un dia yo se que los volvere a mirar otra ves!
