Fleming, Jerry M. LTC (Retired) Died Jan 2. Born May 12, 1940 Dayton, Ohio; earned Masters of Social Work; worked as counselor. Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Bernice; brother Jim. Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Beverly; son Steven and wife Debbie; daughter Suzanne; grandchildren Kevin, Ashly, and Rob; niece Maureen and husband Oscar, grandnieces Catalina and Alejandra. Served 26 years in Army; Vietnam veteran. Devoted to Waldenstrom's Foundation; started N. TX support group. Passionate advocate of veteran's affairs assisting vets in receiving medical benefits. Interment with Full Honors DFW National Cemetery Jan 8, noon; Celebration of A Life service Jan 9, 2:00 pm Plano Community Unitarian Universalist Church, 2875 E. Parker Rd. Donations in his honor to the Waldenstrom's Research Fund (www.iwmf.com) appreciated.
