Obituary of
Freed, Ida M.
Ida Mildred Wall Freed, loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, died September 20, 2010. Born in Dallas, Texas on Ju- ly 20, 1919. Ida was a graduate of Forest High School. She married her late husband Bernard Freed on April 7, 1940. They had 47 won- derful years of marriage. Her integ- rity, wit, care, and love for her fami- ly and friends will always remain a true inspiration to all. Her most important treasure in her life was her family. Ida was a devoted mother to her two children, Gary Freed and Joyce Schwartzberg (Sam). She was a beloved "Grammom" to Helaine Moore, Ri- chard Freed (Meredith), Todd Schwartzberg (Brenda), Sharron Laizerovich (Ophir), and was blessed with ten great- grandchildren. Ida was preceded in death by her brothers Harry and Milton Wall, and survived by her sister Rosie Lebcowitz (Jay). The family would like to express their gratitude to Bonnie Bryan and Angi Inci for their loving care and devo- tion to Ida. Rabbi David Stern will lead a graveside service at Temple Emanu-El cemetery, 3430 Howell Street, Dallas, TX 75204, Wednes- day September 22, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children
