Obituary of Furra, Steve N.

Steve Noble Furra was born July 26, 1929, in Cushing, Texas, and died on December 1, 2012, in Emory, Texas. He was a loving husband of 36 years to Florence Laverne Furra, whom he married on November 1, 1976. Steve was employed by Westvaco Envelope Company for 37 years as a machinist. Steve accepted Christ in 2009. In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by one daughter, Gay Nell Sherbert and her husband, Don. They have one son, Brandon Keith and wife, Julianne, and their two children, Rachel Grace and Cameron Joseph. He also had four stepchildren, Floyd Hill (deceased), Darleen Castorena and husband, Al, Charlotte Busby and husband, Jerry, and Ronnie Johnson and wife, Sandy. Altogether, Steve and Florence have 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Steve was a loving husband and father who will be missed very much. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home. Graveside Service: 11:30 a.m. in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
