Obituary of
Hailey, Ann L.
Ann Louise Foley Hailey passed away on May 25, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. She was born to Ona Burnell and Annie Foley in Laurel, Mississippi, December 31, 1927. She graduated from Mississippi State College for Women in 1946 at the age 19. Ann moved to Houston, Texas to work for Humble Oil. She married George Norman Hailey, Jr in 1954. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, George Norman Hailey, Jr... She is survived by her daughter Sara Robinson and her husband Cass, and her son George Norman Hailey, III (Trey) and his wife Mary Claire. Ann had five grandchildren, Hailey Ann Robinson, Hannah Grace Hailey, Caswell Owen Robinson, III, Katy Marie Hailey and Jack Joseph Hailey all of Dallas. Ann loved her family, friends, her house in New Braunfels, a good game of bridge, maj jong, bingo, Tripoly, a challenging crossword, and any kind of chocolate. She will be missed by those who truly knew her. Her family thanks Jeff, Darnisha, Deedra, along with the other loving, patient souls who cared for her at the Edgemere and made her last year more enjoyable. Thanks also to the wonderful caregivers at Century Hospice. Service will be Wednesday, May 30 in the chapel at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, Geriatric Services or The Alzheimer
