Haralson, Elmer "Bud" H.

Haralson, Elmer Harry, “Bud”
A resident of Farmers Branch for almost
60 years, died peacefully on
July 19, 2010. Bud was born on
November 20, 1922 in Black River
Falls, Wisconsin. He joined the Army
Air Corps and served in India
during WWII. After the war, Bud
settled in Chicago, where he began a
37 year career with NCR, married
Ava Lou James of Wichita Falls, and
moved to Texas. He was a talented
mechanic, a superb manager, and an
honorable man. He was devoted to
his family, and loved sports, history,
poetry, and music. Bud is survived
by his wife, Ava Lou, two daughters
Leslie Haralson (Arthur) Plumb and
Linda Haralson (Derek)
Wendelken, two grandchildren
Travis Scott Plumb and Melody
Ann Plumb, one brother, three sisters,
and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Dallas-
Ft. Worth National Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, the family suggests
donations be made to the Masonic
Lodge of Farmers Branch.

I ATTENDED BUD'S FUNERAL HE WAS VERY NICE TO BE AROUND AND HE WAS MY UNCLE. MY NAME IS RAY ALLAN JAMES WHO LIVES IN WICHITA FALLS, TX
