Obituary of
Harn, Billy B.
Harn, Billy Billy (Bill) Harn went home to his savior Jesus Christ on January 24, 2010 with his family at his side. Bill was born November 19, 1926 in Martha,Oklahoma and moved to Lewisville, Texas with his family in 1932 where he grew up and attended school. He served in the U.S.Navy from 1944 to 1946. He met his wife of 61 years, Beverly, in San Jose, California and they married in 1948. They later moved to Texas and settled in Garland in 1953. He owned several barber shops and barbered in the area until 1960 when he changed professions and started a used car business. During a short period of time in the late 60's and early 70's he owned and operated a dairy in East Texas. He returned to Garland where he concentrated full time on the used car business until he retired. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, Joe and wife, Corrine; daughters, Tina Knouse, Elizabeth Naki and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Jason Harn and wife, Laura, Becky Oneal and husband, Todd, Clint Knouse, Katie Short and husband, Scott, Michael Naki, Alec Naki and Makena Naki; great-grandchildren Makayla Knouse, Troop Oneal, Tate Oneal, Trot Oneal, and Lincoln Harn. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 26, at Lavon Drive Baptist Church in Garland where he had been a member since 1960.
