My sympathies are with his family, I only discovered his passing today.
Rick was a great person to be around with his laugh and great outlook on life. I never met any of his family but I do know he was very proud of his children. God is now learning some chords on guitar and enjoying Rick! Peace be with you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Ricky's for many yeard at St. Martins. I had seen him again at our 40th reunion. He was so full of life. I particularly remember his straw hat....cowboy like. He really seemed to relish each moment.

I knew Rick from 45 years ago and have never forgotten his humor, his friendliness and his unbelievable athletic skills. We reconnected by phone a few years ago and I have enjoyed the memories. I am so very sadden by his passing and I know he will be missed by all. Rick was an outstanding man.

Sarah and family, I am sorry for your loss. Your Dad was always so much fun and I am sure he will be missed greatly. Julie lost her Dad also, almost 2 years ago now. There is still a void in our lives, but it does get easier with time. Love, Cathie

I just learned of the service being held this morning....had I known I would have surely attended....I am a friend, tennis and music buddy of Rick's....I tried very hard to reach Rick in June to attend my daughter's graduation party and he would not respond...I was perplexed but assumed that he had his reasons... Was he ill at that time? If you dont mind can you tell me something about what happened?...I had been thinking recently how much I wanted to see him, last time we spoke I was going to meet him at Brookhaven to hit some tennis balls and he was going to come to a music jam I put together at a local club....his passing truly leaves me with a large, empty and lonely hole...I will truly miss and think of him often.....Frank
