Obituary of Im, Chong K.

Chong Keun Im, 67, passed on August 28, 2011. He was born in Chun Chu, South Korea on August 3, 1944. He was in the Korean Army and served in the Vietnam War. In 1973 he took his young family and immigrated to the United States. He owned several businesses and was a real estate agent before retiring. He worked tirelessly to provide a better life for his family and for that we are forever grateful. He loved his family very much and was a devoted husband and father. He was an avid golfer and loved to keep fish as a hobby. He is bereaved by his loving wife, three daughters, two son-in-laws, five grandchildren and sister. He will always and forever be loved and missed. May he rest in peace. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. The rosary will be recited beginning at 7:30 pm. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Saint Andrew Kim Catholic Church, 2019 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
