I learned of the unfortunate and untimely death of your son. There are no words to describe the sadness that I am feeling, and I cannot possibly imagine the shock and sorrow that has been put on your family as well.

I will always remember the experiences Mark and I shared together. Although I did not know Mark all that well the times that I did spend with him were always nice. He was a great man and always had an ear to listen. I would always say to myself, man I like this guy! It is true that he was taken from us too soon, and I think you share my sentiment that it feels a little unfair that such a smart, great looking and friendly young man's life has ended with so much living left to do.

During this difficult time for your family, please accept my sincerest condolences. May the Lord bless and keep you.

Mark was a warm, funny, smart and compassionate man. He also had a lot of patience with me, helping me to better understand baseball. He stood up for me when it was needed and always made me laugh. My world was a better place with him in it.

Many hearts and prayers are with you now. There is so little one can say to bring you comfort at this time, but may it help to ease your pain and sorrow to know that so many people understand and care about your loss.
May all your precious memories bring you and your family comfort and peace during these coming days.
Those we love are never more than a thought apart, for as long as there's a memory, he will live on in your heart.

Our dearest Koeth family. We will forever cherish your precious Mark - all the laughter and fun we shared over the years. What a wonderful "child of God". We bless him in heaven with His heavenly family and we will continue to pray for peace and healing for all that are here with us. We will forever laugh and smile as we remember Mark, and his hilarious "Mr. Frog Eyes", that he knew we send mama Joanna into fits of laughter.
Our love and prayers to each of you.
