Lamb, Elizabeth "Betty" W.
Lamb, Elizabeth (Betty) Wilbur Betty Lamb passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she met and married the love of her life, Odell "Buddy" Lamb, during World War II and soon moved to Dallas. She loved the Lord and her family. When her children were young, she was a room mother, Cub Scout and Brownie leader, and choir guild member. She was a member of the Junior League of Dallas and a volunteer gift wrapper at the St. Michael's Women's Exchange for 35+ years. She was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church for over 60 years. Preceded in death by her husband, she will be greatly missed by her two sons, Robert Lamb and wife Jaynie, Rod Lamb and wife Debbie, her daughter Elizabeth Knight and husband Stan, her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as well as a host of friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, at 11:00 am at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church (8011 Douglas Avenue at Colgate, Dallas) in the St. Michael Chapel (entrance on Colgate). The family requests that donations be made in her honor to a charity of your choice.
