We are sending our thoughts, prayers and sympathy to the family and friends of Paul Larson. Paul was a classmate and friend of both of ours at LHS, class of 80. We are so sorry that we did not know about Paul’s illness. Randy would have like to talk to him, but it sounds like it was something that Paul was very private about. Randy remembers a visit that Paul made to the Blue Earth schools in the early 90’s and his dad remembers several times that Paul stopped to say hi as he was passing through Emporia, KS. Randy’s recent memory is being able to golf with Paul and Glenn at the time of our 20th class reunion. RIP dear friend and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Gone too soon!

Julie and Alex-
My heart is just broken over your lost as well as the lost of my dear friend Paul. We used to talk
every day when I was in Forest Lane and know how much he Loved you and Alex. I talked to him a few months ago and he was looking forward to spending time with ya’ll during the summer. I know he’s in a better place, free of pain. But I just miss his smile and laughter. He was a dear friend that I cared for alot, one that I could talk to. We had plans to get together after my vacations, I guess now I’ll have to wait till I see him again. We love ya’ll.

I am so sorry to hear about Paul. He was a cousin of mine that I have not seen in over 30 years, but have become “Face Book friends” in the last year. I was just beginning to re-connect and know what a wonderful person he was. My heart goes out to all the family as I know that you miss him. I work with cancer patients every day and know how hard he fought this disease. God bless you and give you peace and grace.

Dan Huffman says:

I had great times with Paul here in Colorado Springs and will miss him very much. He was a neighbor for a few years and we rode motorcycles together and also enjoyed the occasional beer (or three!).

I remember him throwing dirt back over his fence (when we used to get a lot of rain) to the neighbors house who did not have a nice yard like Paul and Julie did.

Always made me laugh when he did things like that, but of course he always had the best looking yard on the block!

Steven and Sheila Schuler says:

Really sorry we couldnt make it to the funeral. If you ever need anything let us know. Love you both.
