I met Mr. Glauben only once several years ago but that was sufficient to record a chance encounter in perpetuity in my collective consciousness.
We visited for some time discussing myriad topics with Mr. Glauben contributing to each area of conversation with meaningful and relevant specificity. I knew at the time that I had encountered greatness and our brief but consequential visit had an indelible affect on me that remains intact. His positive, encouraging attitude was contagious and we departed with me knowing that I had experienced an interaction with a great man that has inspired me ever since.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Max. What a wonderful man, always a smile on his face. I worked for him in 1980 when he made his 1st trip to Israel. He was so excited about seeing an uncle he thought he had lost. Now the angels have him. Thank you Max for all you have done!

    Im 74 now
I was planning to take him to dinner soon and then heard the sad news
    He will rest in peace
God bless him and his family
