Mayfield, Cornelius "Neil" III A.
Mayfield III., Cornelius A. "Neil" After a 9-month battle with cancer, Neil, of Safety Harbor, FL, passed away Friday, November 13th. Born May 21, 1942, he was the son of Maedell and C.A. Mayfield, both deceased. He is survived by his sister Sally and her husband Rusty Shook, his son Jack Mayfield, and his wife Louisa; his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Lance Jackson; his son Cam Mayfield and his wife Katie; his grandchildren Ellen, Maggie, Tyler, Emily Grace, Catherine, Quinn, Jackson due in April and numerous nieces and nephews. Neil was in the insurance business where he formed many friendships traveling through all 50 states. He was known for his quick wit and compassion for others. His friends and family will sorely miss him. Memorial service will be held Mon, 2pm, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church Wynne Chapel In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to The American Cancer Society and The Salvation Army.
