McDonald, Robert P.

Robert Paul McDonald, 51, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on November 2, 2012.

He was born in Rochester, Minnesota on August 4, 1961. Robert graduated from Weber High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1979 and retired after 20 years of service.

Robert was married to Carol Ann Walker on November 14, 1988. He enjoyed golfing with all his boys, hunting with Cat, and gardening with his grandson.

Robert is survived by wife, Carol; sons, Michael and Ryan; daughters, Stephanie and husband, Jason, and Erin; grandchildren, Jepherson and Ricardo; sister, Sandra and husband, Charles; brothers, John and wife, Lisa, Kelly, Patrick, Matthew and wife, Wendi, and many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by close friends, the Armstrong Family and Mary and Lillian Creel.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Richard; mother, Martha; brothers, David and Michael and sister-in-law, Lisa.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on November 7, 2012 with the funeral service starting at 3:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.

I have such fond memories of Robert, and all the family. I remember spending an entire summer (when I was 14) with Aunt Martha, Uncle Dick, and all the boys. Camping in the mountains, barrel racing in a rodeo in Salt Lake City, and so much more. RIP cousin. In my prayers...

I didnt know you Robert but I know your wife Carol and your son Ryan. They are wonderful people with a heart full of gold and your memory will live on thru them. God needed his angel back a little sooner then expected but say hi to my daddy for me I am sure you two would hit it off. Gone but not forgotten RIP Robert!!!

I'm going to miss Bobby a great deal. My Cousin from my Mom's side of the family will be donating the toys she collects this year for Toys For Tots in Bobby's name in Michigan.I just wanted the Family to know that,and that he touched lots more people than ya'll realized. Cousin, I know I'll see ya up there when I get Home! Hoo Rah Semper Fi!!!
