Obituary of
Miller, Tehila K.
Tehila Katzman Miller, 93, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, September 27, 2012. Born July 21, 1919, to Miriam and Isser Katzman, in Dzhankoy, Crimea, Russia, where her father was a cavalry officer in the Army of the Czar. In 1920, she and her family left Russia for Palestine (now Israel) and settled in Hadera, Israel. Tehila was a devoted and dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; there was no greater pride or joy for her than her family. Unconditional in her love, generous in heart and understanding of all people, she was fluent in six different languages. In 1941, Tehila joined the British Army as a member of the ATS, serving in WWII for 5 years, driving ten-ton tanks with Montgomery
