Obituary of
Murphy, Patria T.
Patria Trail Murphy, was born on March 22, 1925 in Kaufman County, Texas and passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. She was a 1945 graduate of Texas State College for Women (TWU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Patria authored the book "TRAILS", a geneology of her ancestors who arrived in Texas in 1883. Patria is survived by her children; Carol Murphy Moses, Elizabeth Murphy and Robert Joseph Murphy, Jr.; grandchildren, Kelsey Elizabeth Moses, Alysia Murphy Bell, Samantha Jo Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Joseph Murphy; parents, Tom and Dollie Trail; sister, Mary Elizabeth Trail Barnett; brother, J T (Jack) Trail. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home at 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm. A private interment will be held at DFW National Cemetery. Please send the family condolences and sign the guest book on this website.
