Obituary of OYA IMREN

OYA IMREN of Dallas, Texas, died on Sunday, June 5, 2022 after a long battle with ALS.

She was 70 years old young. Oya was born March 15, 1952 in Ankara, Turkey. She immigrated to the United States in 1975 and became a naturalized citizen in 1996.

 

Oya was a licensed professional and unusually skillful manicurist/pedicurist for over forty years doing what she loved best. Through her work she made many lasting friendships and meaningful relationships. There is no one that could match her healing hands and loving heart. She often gifted her clients with her unmatched, homemade baklava!

 

Oya is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ipek and Anthony Rudd and her three grandchildren, Eren, Sera and John of Dallas, Texas as well as her brothers, Sami (Nansi) Durten of Austin, Texas, and Sadri (Fatma) Kiral of Antalya, Turkey.

 

A celebration of Oya’s life is scheduled for Saturday, June 18 at 11:00 AM at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas.
