āI highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brotherās arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.ā

Papert, Ida S.
Leaving a volunteer life of 81 years, Ida Papert died January 28th. Ida moved to Dallas from Shreve- port, La. in 1952, to find, as she said "a husband, family and happy life". She found all of that with her husband of 53 years, Sam Papert, Jr., her children, Sammy, Peggy and Lee, and her grandchildren Lexi Earle and Adam Gabrielsen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Beth Balman of Dallas, Sid Balman, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Washing- ton, D.C., Rosalie and Johnny Wil- liams of Lewisville and Larry and Emily Kern of Dallas; cousins, Blan- che Keno of Chicago and Robert Mothner of Austin. And, of course, her "sister" Vivian Evans. After her marriage to Sam in 1953, Ida pursued a life of commitment to the City she loved. Many of her volunteer activities revolved around their children
