āI highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brotherās arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.ā

Obituary of
Peet, Arthur R.
Arthur Peet, beloved Dad, Papaw, Uncle and friend passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Plano, Texas. He was born 84 years ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 27, 1926 to Thomas Davis and Susan Gabe Peet, the youngest of 3 sons. On February 3, 1951 he married Rosemary Laster who preceded him in death last October. Although he received his law degree from the University of Tulsa, Peet chose the steel business as his lifelong career and garnered many wonderful friends along the way. He was known for his business acumen, his wit and his passion for antique cars that he had lovingly restored to their original condition. Peet is survived by his daughter and son in law, Cathy and Jon Yamamoto and grandsons, Tyler, Cody and Riley, of Frisco, Texas and his older brother, Charles of Dallas, Texas. In addition to Rosemary, Peet is preceded by both parents and his eldest brother, Tom. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at The Legacy at Willow Bend and, especially, his personal caregiver, Lynn Wolpa, for their loving care and devotion to Peet, Rosemary, and Christina. His funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 West Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation in the chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
