Obituary of
Piano, Richard J.
Piano, Richard Joseph Born February 8, 1925 in Memphis, TN to Lawrence and Angelina Piano. He passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at home surrounded by his family. After serving in the Navy during WWII he returned to Dallas where he met his loving wife of 61 years, Jane Olive. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. He his survived by his wife Jane; two daughters Kathy Mullins and husband Phil, Rosemary Deschenes and husband Tom; sister Amelia Strange; three grandchildren, Denise Merilck and husband, Chris, Ben Keene and wife, Kristi, Ricky Mullins and four great grandchildren, Ella and Audrey Merlick and Isabella and Koen Keene. A special thank you to everyone with St. Michael's Hospice and Acappella Home Care. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 13, 5:00-8:00pm (Rosary, 7:00 pm), at the North Dallas Funeral Home, Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, Sept,14th, 10:00am at St. Monica Church, Internment will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Veterans Cemetery at 12:30pm.
