  1. Paula & Frank says:

Roger was a dear friend to me long before he met the love of his life, Marilyn. He would ask me to type his papers for college classes. We laughed a lot and once even started to go to Shreveport as a prank, but we only got as far sd East Dallas before we convinced the boys we could be out that late. After he met Marilyn, he was head over heels in love. They were forever adoring and kind with one another, dedicated to being the best help mates for one another.

Roger once drove to Houston, just to visit with my then husband, then took me to dinner to see if I was OK. He knew things were not going well and he was ready to support and encourage anything I decided that very day. It was a couple of years later that Roger told me that he and Marilyn had been worried and were trying to rescue me. Years later, it was to Marilyn and Roger that I ran and to be lifted up, consoled and encouraged to find a happier life. They were on the first date I had with my husband now and me. She and Roger stood with us as we married and gave continued to be our best friends.

May you be always at peace, until we see you again, face to face. We loved you. Paula and Frank
