Jane was born January 11, 1951, in Slaton, Texas to William and Bettye Gustafson Poulos. She is survived by her children, Courtney Cooley and Brandon Cooley.

I had the privilege of knowing Jane at Heights Elementary. I had the opportunity of working with her as my teammate and friend my first year of teaching.One thing I can say about her is how strong she was and definitely a fighter in spirit! We will miss you Jane...
