Selt, Roberta S.

Roberta was born March 7, 1944
and passed away on July 28, 2011.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ivan; children, Tina
Gottschalk, Lori Machette and
Marc Gottschalk, and also by her baby kitties, Oreo and Herkye.
Special thanks to Kerry, Red and Sarah with Compassionate Hands Hospice and Groom Senior Living for the outstanding help, love and care they provided.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 6-8 pm in the Brooks
Family Chapel at the North Dallas
Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View
Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. A graveside service will be
Monday, August 1, 2011 at 3:00 pm
at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery,
3430 Howell Street, Dallas, Texas
75204. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to “The Association For Frontotemporal Degeneration” at www.theaftd.org. Please sign the guest book and/or send private condolences to the family on this website.

Dear mom,today is 8-20-11..43 years ago on this date you gave birth too me..
you taught me too be a real person,wife,sister,mother daughter,We both sacrificed for our children,we are strong,brave,honest,responsible,,happy, helpful,kind,giving,women.We are real women,You taught me all about plants,every day im out with mine i think of you..i will pass the wisdom i got from you too my children!I know i have made you very proud of me.

I am still in dis belief my mom is gone. I think of her all the time. I miss you mom. You would be very proud of me as I turned out to be just like you. You molded me into a caring,loving,compassionate person, the person I am today. I wouldnt be the person I am without you.

i wish that i could have spent more time with you. And that i know that you are a great mother because look at my mom. We all know that you raised her well, and then she raised me well, that's how we all know that you where a good mom. And you love people, animals, plants, and we will miss you so much.

A loving mother,friend, Grand-mother and sister, Roberta selt .. was born march 7,1944 - July 28 2011.She leaves behind her husband Ivan Selt, her daughter Tina Gottschalk, a daughter Lori Machette, son in law-Dave Machette, a son Marc Gottschalk.She also leaves behind two brothers Steven Sincoff, and David Sincoff. She also leaves behind 2 nephews and 2 nieces as well as 3 grandchildren, Kristine,Katie,and kyle.
She loved her job as a nurse taken care of troubled adolescence.She loved her plants and to gardening, loves animals( i used too call her "Snow White"
She had many friends we would like to Say Thank YOU,JERRY S ,Arlene D., The Kepler's.
MOM you will be missed you will always be in my thoughts,and dream,and i will thinking of you ever day. you mom made me a great person,wife and mother thank you you were the BEST mom i girl could ever have:) love your daughter lori

Tina and Family what a blessing it was to take care of mama Berta even though she could not talk she would respond with her eyes and one day i went to feed her and thought i would sing to her out of no where this voice said shut up boy i laughed so hard that was just one of the good times i spent with her she was an amazing woman and i thank God i was able to take care of her. Tina GOD is in control know that she at peace and my thoughts and prayers goes out to your family.

My mom will be missed as She is on a new journey in her life, she was a great mom,friend,and wife.And we will always remember the good memories of her (snow white) her smile,her green thumb.
