    Dear Donna and family,
Frank and I are so sorry that we were not there to express our sympathy in person. We did not know of Clarence’s passing until a much later time. We are praying for you at this sad time.
We always admired Clarence, and we thought he was such a kind and thoughtful man who loved his Lord and his family dearly. I will always remember how supportive he was of your participation in local symphonies, Donna, and how proud he was of your many talents. He encouraged all of us musicians with his presence and praise. He was such a fine gentleman and he will be greatly missed.
