    A heartbreaking day.
Tom was always the life of the party but also had a kind heart. Always lifting people when they were down. Met him in middle school but ran in different circles. Always crossed at dances and parties.

You will be greatly missed my friend.

    Fly high our JFK Eagle.

I knew Tom from 7th grade on. He was always kind and wonderful to me. I will always have great memories of the school dances we went to together!

Be free of pain and worries my friend. Now you will never walk alone, which you told me once was one of your fears. Rest well my friend.

At various times ,Tom was my classmate, my best man, my roommate, a work colleague and a companion on road trips throughout America to see and hear our favorite bands. These were some very good times.
As always happens, years go by and life gets in the way. We all have our crosses to bear; at times it seemed Tom’s were particularly heavy. As the old saying goes” there but for the grace of God go I…:
I will choose to focus my memory on that night in Alpine Valley when Tom and I saw Sammy Hagar perform Eagles Fly solo on acoustic guitar . For those brief moments ,the only thing that mattered was our friendship.
Fly free now, Tom , free and clear and clean. Your pain is gone, now please rest in peace
