My memories of Jimmy are seeing him laugh and being in the middle of fun times. Everyone was his friend and I wish I would have stayed in touch over the years. I pray that he has found peace. His spirit and memory will live on. His death has made a huge impact on our Westbury High School Class of '79 and has brought us closer and made us realize how precious our lives, families and friends are to all of us. Rest in peace, Jimmy.

I spent my early college days at Sam Houston Sate with Jimmy. He was a member of our fraternity. I have not seen him for decades but thought about him quite often. He will always live in my hart.

You will be missed and forever loved for your laughter and the ability to make us laugh at ourselves.

Thank you for giving me two wonderful sons.

Our hearts are broken.

Dear Suzanne and Boys,
Though I had not seen Jim since Aunt Thelma'a funeral, nonetheless, I considered him a little brother. My Daddy, his Uncle Jack, called him " the technocolor kid" when he was little because of his red curls and blue eyes. His personality and energy made him a family favorite.
My heart is breaking for our loss and my thoughts and prayers will be with you and the boys in the coming days.
With much love, Marcia Tillman Tomberlin
