Watkins, Doyle D.
Doyle Derwood Watkins of Carrollton, Texas, passed away at home on October 26, 2011, shortly after celebrating his 90th birthday. Pre-deceased by parents Audrey & Drew Watkins of Sudan, Texas, & sister Dorothy Mae & Dr. Bill Patterson, of Knoxville, Tennessee, he leaves behind a daughter from his first marriage, Carol Ann Brantley (Jerry) of Plano, Texas. In 1976 Doyle married Myrtle duPerier Morrison and fathered her 5 children as lovingly as his own. They are Sara Cusick (Richard); Dr. Joseph Morrison (Dawn); Tom Morrison (Jan); Helen Greer (Joe); & Dorothy Carroll (Mike). They gave Doyle 14 wonderful grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren which enlivened his life: Katie Mae Flores (Julian & children James, Michael & Isabella); Helen Dahlvig (Joey & daughter Emma); James Cusick (Stephanie & son Jimmy); Paul, John, & Jessica Morrison; Claire Allison (Clay & children Connor & Madelyn); Christopher Morrison (Jenny); Eryn & Tommy Morrison; Kathleen & Joey Higgins; Michael Carroll; & Christian Baldwin (Allison & children Hadleigh, Harper and Hughes). He
