Obituary of
West, Stephen P.
In loving memory of Stephen Perry West who passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, after a courageous 2-1/2 year battle with esophageal cancer. Steve was born on June 17, 1955, in Lubbock, TX, to Perry and Maggie West. He is survived by wife, Kim; his parents; and step-children, Tarin and Tyler Nix. Steve shared a love and passion of cars and motorcycles with his father and many friends. He loved being around people and spent his life with a positive, optimistic attitude often commenting "it's good to be Steve!". Steve was President of Erickson Sales and was widely regarded throughout the electronic component industry serving on numerous Rep Councils and associations. He will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit and love of the customer. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 1, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at Wylie United Methodist Church. Following the service a Celebration of Life reception will be held at Awesome Acres. Funeral arrangements are under the personal direction of Wayne E. Baxter.
